  Marie Leonard Hinson 89, of South Happy Hill Road, passed away early Thursday Morning March 17, at Lexington Health Care after a period of declining health.
  Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday March 22, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Kelley Groce officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday, other times at the home of the son 467 South Happy Hill Road.
  Marie was born August 14, 1921 in Davidson County to Henry Luther Leonard and Robbie Shoaf Leonard. She was a retired sales clerk having worked at Community Drug, Pickett's Supermarket and Village Fashions. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Davidson County Genealogical Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Japhia Leonard; sisters Margie Leonard, Stamey Tarlton, and Mable Pickett.
  Surviving Marie, are her husband of 64 years Elzaban Hinson Sr; son Junie Hinson and wife Patty; two sisters Catherine Leonard and Louise Pope and husband Alvin both of Welcome; two grandchildren, Lori Ann Bailey and husband Jeff and Marcus Vann Hinson and wife Jennifer; two step grandchildren, Holly Brown and Donnie Brown and wife Alice; four great-grandchildren, and 3 step great-grandchildren.
