  Harry was born April 13, 1943 to the late Ralph and Lucille Lippard. Harry grew up in Cleveland and was a graduate of West Rowan High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He retired after 30 years working as an insurance auditor.
  
  He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and the Boots Hellard Sunday school class. He was an active deacon and a member of the R.O.M.E.O. (Retired Old Men Eat Out) Men’s Group.
  
  In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother Walter Ralph Lippard on September 13, 2009.
  
  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Susan Lippard; son Henry Lippard (Cindy) of Monroe; daughter Harriet Michael (Brian) of Germantown, TN. Three grandchildren Oliver Lippard, Lorelai Michael and Graham Michael.
  
  He is also survived by an uncle Robert Hendrix (Polly) of Raleigh; two sisters Frances Barber of Cleveland, Helen Wrights of Salisbury; brother Clyde Lippard (Faye) of Davenport, FL and a sister-in-law Flaydene Lippard of Melbourne, FL.
  
  The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Summersett Funeral Home.
  
  The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Clark, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

  Harvey “Clyde” Lippard, age 76, of Davenport, Fla. passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his residence after battling cancer for several years. Clyde was born on Nov. 10, 1940 in Rowan County to the late Ralph and Lucille Lippard of Cleveland. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School and a member of Enon Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Diane Lippard on Aug. 18, 1968. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Ralph Lippard on Sept. 13, 2009 of San Antonio, Tex. and Harry Edward Lippard on Dec. 12, 2016 of Salisbury. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Landa “Faye” Lippard of Davenport, Fla. and one son, Timothy Clyde Lippard and wife Dawn of San Antonio, Tex. He is also survived by two sisters, Frances Barber of Cleveland and Helen Wrights of Salisbury plus several nieces and nephews. • Biography*: Mrs. Lorene Poteat Barnhardt, 79, excitingly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, February 19, 2017 from her residence. Mrs. Barnhardt was born October 1, 1937 in Salisbury N.C., daughter of the late Raymond White Poteat and Mildred Louise Hendrix Poteat; she was also preceded in death by her sister Lois Smith.
  
  Lorene graduated with honors from Appalachian University and Mars Hill University. A retired elementary school teacher in the North Carolina School System, having taught for ten years at Walker Town Elementary School and two years at Hickory Grove Elementary School, a member of the Matthews United Methodist Church where she sang in the Church Choir, Chairperson for the Delia Lemmond Circle, Treasurer for the United Methodist Women (UMW), Treasurer for the Delia Lemmond Circle, Officer for the UMW, Charlotte District, also very active in UMW at Myers Park United Methodist Church. Lorene and Caleb are members and were very active in Belles & Beaus Square Dance Club.
  
  Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at Matthews United Methodist Church. Services to celebrate the life of Lorene will follow at 12:00 noon in the Church Sanctuary with her Pastor the Reverend Doctor Chuck Wilson and Reverend Gary Botford officiating, interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
  
  Survivors include her husband of 47 plus years Caleb, two children; Christi Manivanh (Daniel) of Indian Trail, Stuart Barnhardt (Kelly) of Indian Trail, Four grandchildren; Mya Manivanh, Coby Manivanh, Thomas Barnhardt and Ryan Barnhardt, three brothers; Donald Rayford Poteat (Nancy) of Charlotte, Eugene Poteat (Betsy) of Pittsburg Pa., Milton Poteat (Tena) of Villa-Rica Ga. Lorene was loved and she loved everyone she came in contact with.
