  Mrs. Mary Eliza M'White succumbed to the infirmities of old age at her home in the Barker-Ten Mile Community Friday morning at 11 o'clock after an illness lasting for 3 1/2 months, during which time she was confined to her bed. She was 87 years old.
  
  Funeral Services were conducted from the home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev J. A. Dailey, her pastor and interment was made in the family cemetery.
  
  Pallbearers were Messrs, N. A. Townsend, Raeford Smith, W. F. Townsend, H. S. M'White, I. A. M'White and John Jones.
  
  Deceased is survived by the following daughters and sons; Mrs. R. E. L. Prevatt of Rockingham; Mr. Hugh A. M'White, who lives on the old home place, R. 1 from Lumberton; Mr. R. W. M'White of Alabama City, Alabama; Mr. D. W. M'White of Tallahassee, Florida; and Mr., W. B. M'White, with whom Mrs. M'White lived in the Barker-Ten Mile community. One brother, Mr. J. A. Campbell of St. Pauls, and one sister, Miss Caroline Campbell of the Barker-Ten Mile community, also survive.

  LIPKEY, Lloyd Herbert, 90, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2011, just one day after celebrating a small reunion with his family. Mr. Lipkey was born June 24, 1920, in North Dakota, and grew up in Central Florida. He was the eldest of four children born to the late George and Cora Lee Lipkey. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Vivian Watson Lipkey and is back in her loving arms, where he has always wanted to be since their marriage in 1947. He is survived by his son, Lloyd Albert Lipkey and his wife, Izabel; his daughter, Vivian Lipkey Abel and her husband, Anthony; as well as three grandchildren, Bella Lipkey, Tony Abel and Christine Abel. Lloyd served our country during WWII, and achieved the rank of Captain in the Army Air Corps by the time of his discharge. He continued in Civil Service, working in Washington D.C. with the General Accounting Office and then at the Federal Maritime Commission until his retirement. He and Vivian built their home in Maryland, and were faithful members of Whitehall Baptist Church in Accokeek. After retirement they enjoyed many winters in Florida. At the time of his death, Lloyd resided in Powhatan, Va., with his son and family and his daughter and family right next door. Lloyd enjoyed serving his church, wherever it may be. In maryland, it was Whitehall Baptist Church, where he served in many capacities. Once he settled down in Powhatan, he enjoyed the minister and congregation at Fine Creek Baptist Church. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and fishing. He enjoyed fishing in Maryland with Ed Taylor and A.B. Whiteman. In Powhatan, he fished on the pond behind his daughter's home as often as possible. Grandpa Lipkey taught his grandchildren how to fish, and how to be annoyed with turtles. He loved hearing stories about police life from his son, and church life and work life from his daughter. He always had suggestions on both. A memorial service will be held at Fine Creek Baptist Church, 3619 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan, Va., on Saturday, May 14, at 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Fine Creek Baptist Church.
