A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 26 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ray Nance Howell IV. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davis was born April 18, 1914 in Davidson County to Ira Odell Wilson and Pearl Feezor Wilson. She was a homemaker and member of Churchland Baptist Church. Her husband, Foy Adolphus Davis, and her son, Foy Lee Davis, Sr., preceded her in death, as well as her brothers, Baxter Coy Wilson, Holland Wilson, and Dick Wilson; and her sister, Nadine W. Newsome.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Foy Lee Davis, Jr. and Ronda D. Rabon and husband, Kevin, both of Lexington; her sister, Margaret Davis, of Liberty and her great grandchildren, Henry A. Davis, Jordyn Davis, Justin Rabon, and Elizabeth McBriant.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Churchland Baptist Church, 7516 NC Highway 150 South, Lexington NC 27295 or to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.

Mrs. Lomax was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Davidson County to Lloyd G. Davis and Lena Crotts Davis. A homemaker, she was a member of Churchland Baptist Church for over 75 years and known to the children in the community as Nana. She would like to be remembered that way because she loved them all.
Surviving are her loving husband of 68 years, Ben Hollis Lomax of the home; sons Gary Lomax and his wife, Jody, and Ricky Lomax, both of Lexington; four grandchildren, Todd Lomax and his wife, Melissa, Scott Lomax, Alan Lomax and his wife, Mandy, and Shannon Yarbrough and her husband, Josh; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Ben was a World War II veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 473 in Lexington and a member of Churchland Baptist Church. He loved life, fishing, people, traveling, dancing and entertaining with his harmonica. In his later life, he enjoyed mowing his lawn and riding his golf cart with his beloved dog, Toots.
Ben is preceded in death by the love of his life, Gertrude Davis Lomax. He is survived by two sons, Gary Lomax and wife Jody and Ricky Lomax, all of Lexington; brother Ray Lomax of Virginia; sisters Pauline Young and Joy Koontz, both of Salisbury; grandchildren Todd Lomax and wife Melissa of King, Scott Lomax of Winston-Salem and Alan Lomax and wife Mandy and Shannon Yarbrough and husband Josh, all of Lexington; six great-grandchildren; and special caregiver Carol Long.

Mrs. Elma L. Edge Anderson passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born April 17, 1931 to the late Marion Bartow and Ruth Baxley Edge. Elma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved traveling with her husband for many years.
She is preceded in death by 9 siblings.
Interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
