- Biography*: In the Fall Term of 1846 of Equity Court, Davison County, NC, James Haden et. al. vs. Evan Davis and Jno. Callaway, Evan Davis was ordered removed from the guardianship of complainants.
In the Spring Term of 1847 Evan was to stand for the sum of $915.84.
In the Fall Term of 1848, the court was to collect funds to which James Haden was entitled in 6 lands and pay the Guardian of James Haden, who would be hereafter appointed by the County Court of Forsyth County, NC.
In the Fall Term of 1849 James Haden et. al. vs Evan Davis and others, (Ruth Haden was at this time an infant in school), the Court awarded payment of $25 towards expenses of said Ruth Haden for tuition, board, etc.
Family tradition states that John Davis, son of Evan Davis and Elizabeth Haden, moved to VA and that Evan later moved to VA where he died from injuries received when he was kicked by a mule. - Birth*: Evan was born in 1815.

- Biography*: "Henry bought 111 acres of land from his mother 1 Jan 1841 and in Oct 1857 he bought 112 acres from his father-in-law, Joseph Farabee. Both tracts were located on the waters of Swearing Creek, adjoining David Grubb and Phillip Swicegood. Henry left no will, but an inventory was filed on 8 Mar 1877 by G. W. Snider, J.P., J.H. Swicegood & C.M. Thompson, Commissioners, in order to set-off the widow's dower. The homeplace of Henry & Phoebe Farabee Davis is located on property west of Hwy 150 near Grace Baptist Church, Tyro. The house burned many years ago."

- Biography*: Prior to her marriage to Billy Haden, Caroline Davis had filed suit against John Grubb and in the Superior Court Minutes of Davidson County, NC, Apr., 1839, Billy Haden made himself a party to the plaintiff, and they were awarded $100 damage.
