  Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Regan Nolan of Benton, MS passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at her home in Yazoo City at the age of 96.
  
  Born November 23rd, 1925 to James Brooks Regan and Margueritte Sharborough Regan, Dorothy was a homemaker who raised her 11 children in their home on Nolan Road. She was a long-time active parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Yazoo City.
  
  Dorothy is survived by her three daughters and five sons: Amanda Ross and husband Fred of Vicksburg; Laurissa Henderson and husband Alan of Madison; Margueritte Nolan of Belle Chasse, LA; Tim Nolan and wife Nanette of Benton; Charles “Chuck” Nolan and wife Sarah of Brandon; Peter Nolan and wife Barbara of Manchester, GA; Mike Nolan and wife Leslie of Shreveport, LA; and John Nolan and wife Jennifer of Bardstown, KY, as well as by her 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
  
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Pat” Milton Nolan, and sons Patrick “Pat” (wife Lucy), Thomas “Tommy” (wife Cindy), and Paul Nolan, as well as by her brother, Jimmy Regan.
  
  The service will be held at St. Mary’s on Tuesday, June 28th, with visitation between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The funeral will follow at 11:00AM.
  Dorothy’s grandsons are to be pallbearers: Keith Henderson, Grady Dixon, Joe Henderson, Ryan Nolan, Brandon Nolan, and Patrick Nolan. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dianne Borzik, Dolores Hollowell, Marlon and Debbie Davis, Terry Harber, James Nolan, Sean Nolan,Louie Arnold, Fred Moore, James Eckert, Dick Rohman, and Dennis Vandevere.
  
  Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City with Stricklin King Funeral Home handling the arrangements."
