He enjoyed old cars and car shows. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gaither Shoaf, and Kenneth Shoaf; and a sister, Loreta Sink.
  
  Surviving are his son, Woody Shoaf and wife, Debbie, of Lexington; brother, Dallas Shoaf of Lexington; one grandchild, Ashley Eilbacher and husband, Craig; and two great grandchildren, Harrison and Ella Grace Eilbacher, all of Lexington.
