She was born March 26, 1920 to the late Grace Ferguson Addison and Guy Tillman Addison formerly of Norfolk. Her brother, Guy Tillman Addison Jr., her twin sister, Grace Addison Wagner and sister, Joyce Tillman Addison predeceased her. Mrs. Ruddick was a lifetime resident of Norfolk.
Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Gary E. Lilley and wife Sophia of Chesapeake, Carolyn R. Hall and husband Rhody of Norfolk and Barbara R. Tabor and husband Dennis of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Noelle L. DuBois of Virginia Beach, Christopher E. Lilley of Virginia Beach, Tiffany Sullivan-Westanmo of Brainerd, Minn., Adriane D. Rinehart of Norfolk; four great-grandchildren, Avery Sullivan of Norfolk, Austin DuBois, Lauren DuBois and Kyra Lilley, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Mack Scott of Christ First Community Fellowship, 133 Woodview Ave., Norfolk, VA 23505. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Suffolk, is in charge.
