  She was a member of the East Rockingham United Methodist Church.
  Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richmond County Memorial Park with the Rev. Vann Floyd
  officiating.
  Surviving is her husband, Herman Humphrey of the home; daughter, Emilie Kirchhoffer of Staten Island,
  N.Y; two sons, Lee Humphrey and Jeff Humphrey, both of Rockingham; one brother, Jimmy Lamont of Tampa, FL;
  one sister, Pauline Dutton of Rockingham; and two grandchildren.
  Doris was a delightful person who befriended all. Her bright smile will be missed.

  He was born May 10, 1938 in Kannapolis, N. C. to the late Ernest H. Humphrey and his wife Amanda Mae Brindle Humphrey. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Gage Humphrey and two sons Dennis Rittenhour of Mississippi and Chip Rittenhour of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Ernest Humphrey who died April 22nd, 1989 in Mississippi.
  He was a master cabinet maker. He built beautiful cabinets in new homes for contractors and custom cabinets for individuals. He loved farming and animals of all kinds.
  Johnny is survived by his brother, Joel Humphrey of Mt Pleasant, N. C., sisters, Alethea Faust of Mocksville, N. C., Sandy Yarborough of Lexington, and Zelia Cline of Raleigh, N. C. He is also survived by his ex wife, Barbara Rittenhour of Virginia and ex wife, Judy Greer of Mississippi.
