  Two Injured in Collision
  June Kinlaw of the B.T. section of Howellsville Township was terribly bruised, and his
  small son received a dislocated shoulder Thursday night when the wagon
  in which they were riding was struck in the rear by an automobile operated by
  G.C. Thompson of Pikeville the collision ocurring near the home of A.L. Wilson
  on the Fayetteville Rd, a mile north of town. The injured were taken to the Baker
  Sanatorium, the boy returning home after his shoulder was set. Thompson who said
  he did not see the wagon as he met another car in the mist
  that was falling was released under bond.

  Superior Court Grants Divorces
  The July Term of Robeson County Superior court convened her this
  morning by Judge Q.K. Nimocks Jr. of Fayetteville has spent
  most of the day in the trial of divorce cases. It had already
  been announced that the only matters to be heard by the court
  would be divorces and motions.
  The following divorces had been granted and judgments signed

  Kinlaw Child Ruling
  Superior Court Clerk Wesley Watts received late yesterday from
  Judge John J. Burney of Wilmington, who presided at the court
  last week, a preliminary judgment in the case of custody of the Kinlaw
  child, final judgment to be signed on the first day of the civil term
  which will begin June 12. The preliminary judgment follows.
  In the case of June M. Kinlaw Jr. vs Eleanor Morris P. Kinlaw
  , this being a trial for the custody of Sylvia Jean Kinlaw, a female child
  of approximately five years of age. The court ruled that the child be left
  in the custody of its grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Parham until June 3rd
  when it is to be delivered by Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Parham
  to Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Kinlaw Sr. to be kept until June 12 at 10 when they are to deliver the said child
  back to the court in the courthouse in Lumberton when first disposition of the custody
  of said child will be made.
  But the court is of the opinion and so holds that
  neither plaintiff nor defendant is the proper person to have the custody of the child.

  Mr. J.M. Kinlaw, 87, of Pulaski died July 1, 2007, at his residence.
  
  He was a veteran of World War II and was a retired farmer.
  
  He was preceded in death by, wife, Elsie Marie Clark Kinlaw, parents, Junie May and Mollie Land Kinlaw, daughter, baby girl kinlaw, brother, Charles Luroe Kinlaw, sisters, Dorothy Bryan and Frances Lane.
  
  He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Marie Clark Kinlaw; parents, Junie May and Mollie Land Kinlaw; daughter Baby Girl Kinlaw; brother Charles Luroe Kinlaw and sisters, Dorothy Bryan and Frances Lane.
  
  Visitation was to have been held today (Tuesday) 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. He will be buried Thursday, July 5, in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, N.C.
  
  Survived include sons, Jimmy Kinlaw and wife Carol of Pulaski and Wayne Kinlaw of Florida; daughters, Sharon McDermott and husband Damon of Pulaski and Gayle Sawyer and husband Clay of Virginia; sister Lois Hardison and husband George of Ohio; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
