  Mrs. Doreen O’Connor Rowley, 82, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Doreen was born 23 August 1930 to the late Elsie and Austin O’Conner in Leicester, England. Doreen was married to Mr. William Rowley on 26 September 1952. Doreen held a degree in nursing and worked for a period as a surgical nurse in the Operating Room at Houston County Hospital and later became a teacher at the vocational school and Warner Robins High School as a medical trade’s instructor. Doreen had a special interest/hobby in riding and showing horses. Doreen is survived by her Husband William Rowley, Daughters Catherine Regan, Ann Wade, Sons, Joseph Rowley, Gerald Rowley, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two sisters Kathleen and Maureen. Abiding by her wishes and family members, she will be cremated and without services. In lieu of flowers anyone who may desire are asked to donate to the Heart of Georgia Hospice at 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
