- Biography*: Courtney G. Sutherlin, 58 year old resident of Russellville community, died Saturday morning in Culver Union Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Set. 12, 1904, the eldest son of Jesse and Rachel Wilson Sutherlin.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; four sons Lawrence of Indianapolis, Jack of Russellville, David and Don both at home; a daughter Mrs. Barbara Wethington of Russellville; two brothers, Leroy of Judson and Herman of Russellville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Davis of Rockville, Mrs.Sue Ramsay of Russellville, and Mrs. Ruby Myers of Crawfordsville; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Ray Britton of Roachdale officiating. Interment will be in the Sutherlin Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Monday. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. - Birth*: Courtney was born in 1904.
