She graduated from Derita High School in 1947 and continued her education at Kings Business College. She met the love of her life while working at the office of Biltmore Dairy Farms. Married in 1949, she and Bain began their family at his home in Mallard Creek. Helen became active at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church where she was active in many ministries. Children were particularly close to her heart. She was a Sunday school teacher, 4-H leader, supporter of children's homes, preschool teacher, and active in scouts. She was a member of the Frazier-Robinson Sunday School class, Older Adult ministries, and the Presbyterian Women. The Presbyterian Women presented Helen with an Honorary Lifetime Membership. As her youngest child started school, Helen began working outside the home at Baucom's Transfer and Storage and retired from Paxton Van Lines. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bain Wilson and a daughter, Charlotte Marie Wilson; her parents, George F. Warwick, Sr. and Evelyn Reagan Warwick; and brother, John E. Warwick Sr. She was a loving mother to Deborah Clark, wife of R. Gregory of Plano, TX; Wayne Wilson, whose wife is Deborah of Midland, NC; Audrey Brady of Charlotte, NC; and Jim Wilson and wife Sherry of Midland, NC. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Carrie Brady of Charlotte, NC; Danielle Clark of Plano, TX; Bain Wilson of Champagne, IL; Travis Clark of Plano, TX; Chris Brady of Charlotte, NC; Victoria Harris and husband Dale of Charleston, SC; Ben Wilson of Midland, NC; and James M. Wilson Jr. of Midland, NC. Her sister, Betty W. Britt and husband Dan live in Mims, FL. Helen's brother, George Warwick, Jr. lives in Stanley, NC. The family would like to thank Lovella Aery for her love and care; Nancy Holland for her friendship; and the entire staff of The Pines at Davidson for daily care and love. Alma Helen Wilson will be long remembered as the greatest mother and "Nana" who never met a stranger. A service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00am at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Shawn Barkley and Rev. Kenneth Craig officiating.   Georgia Hicks Warwick, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Born in Pageland, SC, Georgia was married to John E. Warwick (dec) and was a graduate of Charlotte Central High School, Class of 1953. Georgia retired from Rockdale County School System in 2001. She was the long time Secretary and Bookkeeper for Rockdale High School before becoming the Board of Education Benefits Manager. Georgia was the past President and Treasurer of the Rockdale Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary and past President of Rockdale Retired Educators Association. Georgia was a member of the Friendship Class of First Methodist of Conyers.
  
  She was the loving mother to John and Mark Warwick, daughter-in-law Lynnett, and she was the loving sister to Barbara Gordon and Vickie Porter.
  
  Georgia enjoyed her weekly bridge game and her many friends. Special thanks to Abbey Hospice and staff for their wonderful care and compassion.
  
  Services for Georgia will be held on Friday, March 26th at Conyers (GA) First United Methodist. Visitation begins at 1:30 pm with the Memorial Service following at 2:30 pm with Dr. John Byers presiding. • Biography*: Betty Warwick Britt, 87 years old, peacefully passed away July 3, 2019 surrounded by family. She leaves behind her husband Daniel of 61 years and their 3 children Thomas Britt (Rebecca), Carla Walter and Leslie Sickler (Robert). Betty had 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who were the lights of her life as well as numerous nieces and nephews who she adored. She also considered Wilber Marshall and John Bostic, her “kids” and took great pride in their accomplishments. The daughter of Evelyn and George Warwick, Betty was born in Gastonia, NC. She had an older brother, Eugene Warwick and sister Helen and a younger brother George. They all preceded her in death and we know she is happy to be in their presence now. She graduated from Derita High School in Charlotte and the Carolina Business School. After graduation she went to work for Douglas Aircraft in Charlotte in the security department. A part of her job was to investigate potential new employees. One of the potential employees was Daniel Britt from Moore County, NC. He was cleared and hired. Approximately one year later they were married. Soon after they were transferred to Cape Canaveral, Florida where she worked on the Thor and Thor Delta programs before quitting to raise their 3 children. In the early 1970’s her husband started Britt’s Air Conditioning as a second job. She was very instrumental in this becoming a successful business. Betty was a very outgoing and friendly person, she never met a stranger in her whole life. Services are at North Brevard Funeral Home Monday, July 8, 2019. The family will be accepting visitors at 10:00 a.m. , the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by a short graveside service.
