C. T. Myers Dies After Long Illness
Clay Thomas Myers, Sr., 85, died this morning in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Lexington, N. C., son of the late Robert Franklin Myers and Martha Sink Myers. He was a member of First Baptist Church, victory Sunday School Class and was a former deacon. He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. Myers, Richmond, Va., Earl C. Myers, Catawba, N. C., Herbert F. Myers, Mapleton, Maj. James F. Myers, U. S. Army, college Station, Tex., Donald F. Myers, Los Angeles, Calif., and Charles E. Myers, Macon; a sister, Mrs. Maggie M. Everhart, Lexington, N.C; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
