Sightler Sr. and second husband, David C. Regan, daughter, Saran Sightler, sisters, Nell Caughman and Judy Hornsby.
  
  Mrs. Regan was employed by Sears as Catalog Sales Manager for many years. She and her husband, David, lived in Kure Beach, NC until his death where she received numerous awards for service to the community. Mrs. Regan loved music and singing, was a member of Lexington Baptist Church where she sang in both choirs. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
  
  She is survived by her sons: George M. Sightler Jr. (Linda), Bobby Ray Sightler; grandchildren: Scott Sightler (Ginny), Denise Harper (Martin), Marc Sightler (Jennifer); great grandchildren: Emma and Abby Sightler; Jackson, Parsons and Lawson Harper; Seth, Zane, and Lily Grace Sightler; sister: Betty Hayes; brother: William Hornsby (Susan); and sister-in-law: Helen Cropper.
  
  Visitation will be held 10 - 11 AM on Friday, April 13, 2018 with funeral services following at 11 AM at Lexington Baptist Church Chapel. Entombment will be in Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleumollow at Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. Audrey Effie Brogdon

• Biography*: NASHVILLE, TN - Audrey Waggoner, passed away July 15, 2005 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
  She was born in Graymont, GA., to the late Effie Pierce and Wilson Lee Brogdon. Salutatorian of Emmanuel County High School, she went on to become a graduate of the Grady Memorial Hospital Class of 1943. Audrey was a second lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps in WW II where she served overseas in England. Following the war, she graduated from Georgia Peabody College with a BSN degree in 1956. She was a head nurse and night supervisor at the VA Hospital in Nashville for over thirty years. Audrey was a charter member of Belle Meade United Methodist Church. She also served as an active volunteer for community organizations including Meals on Wheels and Road to Recovery.
  She is survived by two daughters Kathy Waggoner Quintanilla (Jim), Marietta, GA, Amy Waggoner Wells (Tim), Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Jocelyn Quintanilla, Patrick, Haley and Michael Wells; a brother, Eugene Brogdon, Savannah, GA; two sisters, Ann Wipperman, Littleton, CO, Shirley Nelson, Pooler, GA and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Belle Meade United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be 11:00 a.m., until the hour of service.
  Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2005 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, GA.

She was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church for eighty years and a charter member of Pine Valley Country Club. She was an avid golfer and played until her seventies. She also loved to play bridge. She was an Emeritus member of the Pilot Club, active since 1978, and longtime member of the Crepe Myrtle Garden Club. She was 90."

• Biography*: "Ralph Terrell Horton, Sr., died on July 11, 2012 at his home in Wrightsville Beach, NC, where he had resided since 1970. Ralph was born in Bethune, SC (Kershaw County), on January 30, 1916 the son of Amos Vance Horton and Nora Lee McManus Horton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilliam and Harold Horton, and one sister Louise Horton LeGwin.
  Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Fountain Horton, and his five children: Suzanne Prince (David), Terry Horton (Nancy), Beth Horton, Paul Horton (Candace), and John Horton (Kristie). Additionally he is survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
  Ralph moved to Wilmington in 1928, graduated from New Hanover High School in 1936, attended Wake Forest College and transferred to NC State University to study Industrial Safety Engineering. He played baseball, basketball, and football at NHHS and was a member of the All-State Football team. At Wake Forest he was a two star athlete and set several football passing records.
  During World War II, Ralph worked at Ethyl Dow Co. and served in the NC National Guard, Wilmington Light Infantry Division. In 1957 he opened Horton Iron and Metal where he worked with his sons Terry and John until his retirement in 2007 after fifty years in the business.
  In 1952 Ralph was elected chairman of the New Hanover County Commissioners. He was a member of the NC Commissioners legislative body, chairman of New Hanover County Board of Health, and a member of the Board of Managers of James Walker Memorial Hospital. Ralph was the Harbor Master for the Port of Wilmington and was a New Hanover County tax supervisor. He was a former Boy Scout troop leader, Azalea Festival committee chairman, and member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Wilmington Executives Club, Lions Club, and Elks Club where he was a member for over 50 years.
  Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed quail hunting and sport fishing making frequent trips offshore as early as the 1940's. He was a supporter of Ducks Unlimited and the Billfish Foundation. Ralph also enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Pine Valley Country Club.
  Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Little Chapel on the Boardwalk with Rev. Pat Rabon officiating. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens."
