Mrs. Bascue was born June 5, 1932 in Washington, DC the daughter of William L. Huggins and Annamae Tippens Huggins.

She worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, and data processor for various employers through the years.

She was a member of Mountain Baptist Church, Bluemont, Virginia.

She married Francis Kenneth "Ken" Bascue on May 8, 1954 in Washington, DC. Mr. Bascue died on January 14, 2008.

Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Marie Foster of Annandale, VA; son, Kenneth D. Bascue of White Post, VA; sister, Barbara Dressel of Springfield, VA; one grandchild; and one great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P. M. Monday, January 23, 2012 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville with Rev. Dennis Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Ketoctin Cemetery, Loudoun County.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
