  Mr. Murry died after a massive heart attack on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2014, in Tyler.
  He was born on July 30, 1958, in Shreveport, La., to Shirley and Clayton Murry.
  He raised three sons, Shawn Patrick (35), Jarred Don (25), and Steven Jacob (19) Murry, of Whitehouse. Steven served in the United States Coast Guard, worked as a mechanic and later became a sergeant and K-9 officer for the Smith County Precinct 1 Constable's Office. He was particularly known for his police and mechanic work.
  
  Steven is survived by his sons, Jacob, Jarred and Shawn and his wife Kim; his grandchildren, Bailey, Cole, Cassie and Jenna; brothers, Larry and Roy; sisters, Bonnie and Kerry; mother, Shirley; and his K-9 Partner, Kaleb.

Rue was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, spending 22 years of employment with Tarrant County Junior College. She was an active, longtime member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst. Rue will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Survivors: Daughter, Joy Gaarz; son, B. Scott Beaird; grandson, Matthew Petty and wife, Brooke; granddaughter, Emily Culp and husband, Robin; great-grandchildren, Logan and Payton Culp and Samuel Petty; and numerous other family members who live in Louisiana.
