    Mrs. Hunt passed away Friday, July 9, 2004 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Hico Baptist Church.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Earnest Hunt and a grandson, Jeffery Wiltcher.
    Mrs. Hunt is survived by two sons: Billy Wayne Hunt and wife Pat of Baton Rouge, LA and Mike Hunt and wife Stephanie of Jonesboro, LA; four daughters: Earnestine
    Hunt of Dubach, LA, Ruth Barfield and husband Ray of Dubach, LA, LaVerne Foster and husband Lamar of Homer, LA and Marilyn Franklin and husband Pee Wee of Dubach, LA; one sister: Ocille Taylor of Choudrant, LA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.

There will be a time of visitation Tuesday, February 4th from 10:30 am until service time at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Chandler was born on August 21, 1925 in Lillie, LA to Willie and Bly Murray and passed away on January 31, 2014. She was a resident of Haughton, LA, manager of a Circle K Convenience Store and a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church in Sibley, LA.

    Mrs. Chandler is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Jim Wiley Grafton; husband, Frank R. Chandler, Jr; brother, Bennie Murray and son-in-law, Harold G. Robertson.

    She is survived by her son, Paul R. Chandler of Haughton, LA; daughters, Mary Robertson of Farmerville, LA, Alice Roberts and husband, Harold and Anita Chandler all of Haughton, LA. Mrs. Chandler is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeanne Robertson, Leslie Cobb (Kenny), Kevin Roberts (Pam), Reagan Smith (Justin) and great grandchildren; Claire Cobb, Casey Cobb, Kelsey Roberts, Clay Roberts, Coby Roberts, Addyson Smith and Coltyn Smith.

    The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the charity of donor's choice.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served as executive Sec. of the Winnfield Ward. Bennie served in the Gulf State Missions as a Young Men's Pres. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Reserve. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited, the NRA and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
    He was the son of the late Willie Murray and the late Nellie Pratt Murray.

    Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Mildred Murray; son, Monte I. Murray; daughters, Vicky M. Keiffer, Kelly M. Swisher and Sonya M. Tenczynski; sister, Geraldine Chandler; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Mr. Murray was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Winnfield Branch, where he served as 2nd Counselor of the Winnfield Branch Presidency. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser.

    Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his father Bennie Murray and is survived by his wife of 37 years Boneica "Neica" Richards Murray, two sons Brent Murray and his wife Jessica of Calvin, and Kyle Murray of Simpson. He is also survived by his mother Mildred Connor Murray, of Winnfield, three sisters Vicky Keiffer of Winnfield, Kathy Swisher and husband Ron of Wilton, N.H., Sonya Carpenter of Winnfield, two step-grandchildren Ethan and Lathan. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

    Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS in Winnfield with President Justin Hardy officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

    Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.

    Pallbearers will be Andy Mercer, Robbie Tyler, Ab Shafer, Ronnie Taylor, Danny Sullivan, and Ron Swisher. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Prince and Jerry Prince.
