- Biography*: Janie Robinson Willis, 79, of Bent Pine Farm, widow of W.B. Willis, departed this life February 1, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, B.C. "Chris" Robinson and Janie Garthright Robinson and her son, David A. Willis. She is survived by her sons, Bart (Cheryl) and Carter (Debbie); daughters, Lynn (Steve), Robin (Danny) and Tina; and grandchildren, Josh and his fiancee, Julia, Greg and his fiancee, Kristen, Sarah, Emily and Janie.
Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Willis was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (today) and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Henry's death certificate (issued to Joan Spragg on March 13, 1980 by the Vital Statistics Office of the Kansas Department og Health & Environment) states that he died March 16, 1918 at 3 a.m. at Blue Rapids, Kansas. His age at death was 81 Years, 6 months, and 1 day. Cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. Names of his parents are listed as unknown and their birthplaces as South Carolina.
