  • Military*: Thomas participated in the Military event between 23 Apr 1861 and 17 Feb 1865. He enlisted as a Corporal in Lancaster and was promoted to Sergaemt 31 Oct 1862. He was wounded in action at Gettsburg, July 1863. He was elected to Lieutant on 8 Aug 1863, effective back to 3 Jul 1863. He was wounded again at Cold Harbor, VA and was admitted to Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Virginia on 6 Jun 1864. He was reported AWOL on 30 Nov 1864 since 15 Nov. He joined the Invalid Corp on 17 Feb 1865..
