  He was born Dec. 11, 1925 near Kingman, Indiana to Dewey Samuel and Olefa Lela Clodfelder Babb. He married Beatrice Ann Ramey on Feb. 9, 1957 in Covington, Indiana. She died May 20, 2004. His parents and two sisters also preceded him in death.
  
  Surviving are a daughter, Janice Wise of Veedersburg, Indiana; two stepdaughters, Marla Troyer of Danville and Carolyn Garber of Texas; a sister, Eileen Smock of Dover, Delaware; two grandsons, Terry (Linda) Thomas and Roger (Belinda) Thomas, both of Veedersburg; three stepgrandchildren, David A. (Shannon) Hatch of Dixon, Mo., Rhonda Beavers of Indianapolis and Michael (Holly) Hatch of Veedersburg; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He preceded her in death July 20, 1988.
  
  She was a life resident of the Cates area. She had resided at Covington Manor since May 1997. She was a member of the Cates Community Church and had attended Kingman Schools. She was employed several years at Coffing Brothers Orchard and Radio Materials Corp. in Attica.
  
  Survivors include: daughters, Joanne (Gerald) Nolan, Covington, June Rhoades, Crawfordsville; sisters, Evelyn Bruno, Mashpee, Massachusetts, Kathleen Bowling, Kingman; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

  He was a resident of Cates and Kingman area most of his life. He was a graduate of Perrysville High School. He was a self-employed electrician for many years and later was maintenance supervisor at North Vermillion schools for 14 years, retiring May 1991.
  
  Survivors besides his wife include: his mother of Covington; sons, David Lee (Charlotte) Clodfelder Jr., and Alan E. (Jane) Clodfelder, both of Covington; daughter, Karen L. Sanderson, Kingman, Kingman; stepsons, Paul (Virginia) Coleman, Tangier, Dan (Lynn) Coleman, Waveland, Kevin (Debby) Coleman, McAllen, Texas; step-daughters, Jeanette (Gary) Husseman, Rockville, Judy (Dan) Laugner, Williamsport, Joyce (Steve) Gill, Betlon, Texas; sisters, Joanne (Gerald) Nolan, Covington, June (Wayne) Rhoades, Crawfordsville; 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
