  Mrs. Glotfelty was born near Ava, Ill., October 30, 1874, and at the time of death was 61 years, 5 months and 17 days old. She was united in marriage to Geore Glotfelty June 27, 1895. Mr. Glotfelty died April 6, 1933. The family resided in this city eleven years.
  
  She leaves to mourn her departure the following children: Ralph Glotfelty, Carbondale, Ill; William of E. St. Louis; Harry of Valmeyer; Howard of Murphysboro; Walter of Seattle, Washington; Glenn of San Diego, Calif; Mrs. Martha Grammer of Murphysboro; and Mrs. Mary Hardin of Murphysboro. Two children preceded her in death. She leaves 21 grandchildren and the following siblings: Henry and Samuel Underwood of Ava; William of Willisville; and Mrs. Mattie Thompson of Oraville.
  
  Mrs. Glotfelty was a member of the Wolf Lake Methodist Church.
  
  Funeral services will be conducted at the Pleasant Hill church. Rev. R. R. Glotfelty and the Rev. W. G. Winan will have charge of the services and the interment will be made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Crawshaw Funeral Home was in charge of services.

  He was born May 22, 1896, in Ora Township of Jackson County, the son of George English and Epsie Underwood Glotfelty. He was married July 13, 1957, to Juanita Horn.
  
  Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Leo Lipe of Granite City and Mrs. Melvin Jorgenson of Chicago; a son, Cecil of Washington Park; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Mrs. Martha Grammer of Chicago, Mrs. Mary Hardin of Phoenix, Ariz., Walter of South Gate, CA and Harry of California.
  
  Mr. Glotfelty was a retired laborer. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7190 in Murphysboro, the Eagles Aerie in Carbondale, and Murphysboro Barracks of the Veterans of World War I. Mr. Glotfelty was a veteran of service in both World War I and II.
  
  Funeral services will be in Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro, with the Rev. Grant Cummins officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Murphysboro. VFW services will be conducted at the graveside.

  She was married to Ivan B. Lirely March 25, 1928, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
  
  Mrs. Lirely was the oldest living member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Jackson County Extension and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
  
  She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ivan and Kay Lirely and Ed and Judy Lirely, all of Murphysboro; and two sisters, Mary McIntyre of Portland, Ore., and Bonnie Favrot of Nashville, Tenn. Six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
  
  Services will be at noon Saturday at Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel, Old Route 13, Murphysboro, with the Rev. John Hartleroad officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.
