Funeral services will be at Community United Methodist Church in Vincennes. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Parkersburg.
Mrs. Clodfelter was born on September 8, 1907, in Parkersburg, the daughter of William A. and Maude M. (Dale) Matthes. She married Cecil Clifton Clodfelter on December 4, 1926. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1959.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She had worked for Richland Memorial Hospital, Weber Medical Clinic, Dr. DiCiro and Burgin Manor. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Vincennes, Ind. and the Caring Friends Sunday School class. She lived in Olney from 1943 until 1989, when she moved to Vincennes until her death.
Mrs. Clodfelter is survived by a son, Galen Dale Clodfelter, of Vincennes, Ind; a daughter, Lois Juanita Wagy, of Minneapolis; a brother, Kenneth Matthes, of Albion; and six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Roena Marie Baker, a brother, Charles Matthes, and a sister, Mabel Rogers.

- Biography*: Galen D. Clodfelter, 80, of Vincennes, IN, passed away July 16, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
Galen was retired from Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had served as Director of the Blood Bank.
A member of Community United Methodist Church, he was active in the community for many years. A member of Jaycees and the TPA, he was a past president of the Lincoln High School Band Boosters. When the Red Skelton Museum received the donations from the Skelton family, Galen helped to organize those many items.
He was a Colt League baseball coach, and assisted with the prison ministry at the Carlisle Prison.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Surviving is his daughter, Cheryl Meyer and her husband, Eric, of Vincennes, IN; his son, Chris Clodfelter and his wife, Kimberly, of Evansville, IN; his sister Lois and Larry Wagy, of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, whose many activities he enjoyed through the years, Zane Clodfelter of Evansville, IN, Rae Marissa Zirkelbach and her husband, Warren, of Evansville, IN, Will Meyer of Vincennes, IN, and Hannah Shields and her husband, Nyal, of Vincennes, IN; and his great-grandson, whom he spent as much time with as he could, Barrett Andrew Zirkelbach.
Born February 13, 1941, in Olney, IL, he was the son of Clifton and Ruth Ellen (Matthes) Clodfelter.
His parents; his wife, Sondra (Brinkley) Clodfelter, whom he married April 19, 1959, and who passed away December 13, 2017; and his sister and her husband, Roena and Raleigh Baker, preceded him in death.
Friends may visit with Galen's family from 4:00 – 8:00 EDT on Monday, at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN and from 9:30 – 10:30 Tuesday, EDT, at Community Methodist Church, 1548 S. Hart Street Road, Vincennes, IN.

- Biography*: Sondra F. Clodfelter, 76, of 1504 N. Hillcrest Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 7:26 am, Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Greenwood Healthcare Center in Greenwood.
She was born in Olney, Illinois, on April 19, 1941, to Herschel and Zola (Shacklee) Brinkley.
Sondra owned Sondra’s Custom Draperies and was a member of the Community United Methodist Church and Xi Delta Chapter Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. At church she had been involved with the music and youth activities and volunteered to help with her husband where the church needed them. She also volunteered at Helping His Hands, Lincoln/Clark Band Boosters, and was a Kids Hope Mentor, and sung in the community choir. Sondra enjoyed traveling and was her grandchildren’s biggest fan.
Surviving are her husband, Galen Clodfelter, whom she married April 19, 1959; her children, Cheryl (Eric) Meyer of Vincennes, and Chris (Kimberly) Clodfelter of Evansville; two brothers, Richard Brinkley of Paris, IL, and Donald Brinkley of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Zane Clodfelter, Rae Marissa Clodfelter, Will Meyer, and Hannah Shields, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Sondra’s Life will be at 10:00 am, EST, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Stacy Downing and Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, EST, Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the service Saturday at the church.
