  Sowers, who died at Grady hospital a short while after being shot by Patrolman W. G. Scott, was identified Sunday by A. D. Mayo, of the Harry G. Poole undertaking establishment, Sowers used many aliases and had previously been convicted of armed robbery under another name, it was said. Relatives made the identification positive Monday.
