  Mrs. Watson, widow of the late Rev. E.C. Watson, her husband of 61 years, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Born in Hattiesburg, MS, she was the daughter of the late George Sidney and Mary Grant Oden. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
  
  Surviving are her daughters, Mildred Jeanne Patterson and her husband Bobby, of Lawrenceville, GA, Mary Sidney Watson of Shawnee, OK; son, Emerson C. Watson, III and his wife Gabrielle, of Columbia, SC; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
  
  She was predeceased by two brothers.

  J.D. Barefoot went to be with his Lord on April 24, 2011. He was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church where he served for many years as a Deacon, Chairman of Deacons and taught Sunday School. He was also a member of the choir.He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Florine G. Barefoot; his daughter, Elonda Barefoot Brown of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter, Shea Brown Deal of Abbeville, SC, and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Deal and Cameron Isaac Deal, also of Abbeville and nine special nieces and nephews. He was owner and operator of Barefoot Barber Shop in St. Pauls, NC for 50 years where he made many friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison C. Barefoot and his mother, Gertrude Cashwell Barefoot, and his sister, Evelyn B. Inman. Family night will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.   The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ten Mile Baptist Church, the Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
  
  She was born in Cumberland County on June 23, 1932, to the late Joseph Harry "J.H." Galloway and the late Salonia Inman Galloway. She was the owner/operator of Modern Beauty Salon in St. Pauls.
  
  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John Daniel "J.D." Barefoot.
  
  Mrs. Barefoot is survived by her daughter, Elonda Brown of Lumberton; a grandchild, Shea Brown Deal and husband Greg; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Harlow and husband Alex and Cameron Deal; and many loving nieces and nephews.
