Martin Grew up in the Haxtun and Sterling colorado areas and entered into the Army in 1962 to 1964. He moved to the LoneStar Community after getting out of service..met and Married Marylin "Lynn" Cline in 1966. To this union 4 children was born...Amanda Lea, Stacy Ranee, Jason Eric and Leslie Marie.... Martin was diganosed with cancer in 2010. Passing away Nov 20,2011 in Greeley, Colo. Martin farmed and worked previously for Edwin Imhof then later Jake Rhodes until his health diminished. He wsa cremated in Greeley..Colo. Memorial Services was held for Martin in Fleming on Dec 5,2011.

• Biography*: Margaret “Peggy” Ann Johnson, 73, of Sterling passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Sterling. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Tennant Funeral Home.
  
  Peggy was born on October 16, 1943 in Denver, CO to Glen William and Mary Frances (Hradecky) Clodfelder. She graduated from Lonestar High School and attended Northeastern Junior College. She was a nurses aid at the Haxtun Hospital from 1982-1986, a waitress and cook at Mainstreet Café in Haxtun from 1986-1991, and at Wal-Mart from 1991-2000. She was married to Joe McCallum from 1964-1988 and then later to Jack Johnson from 1991-2006. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and knitting.
  
  Peggy is survived by son David McCallum and wife Jolene of Haxtun and Daniel McCallum of Sterling; daughter Deanna Lacina of Sterling; grandchildren Justin Lacina and Anthony Lacina of Sterling, Julie Thayer of Haxtun, Billy Andersen of Holyoke, T.J. Andersen of Northglenn, Michael Deselms of Yuma, Ryan Hynson of New Raymer, Danielle Hynson of Denver; stepsons Tom Johnson and Kenny Johnson both of Sterling; stepdaughter Dawn Graton of Otis; several great-grandchildren.
  
  She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Mary; husband Jack Johnson; daughter Tiffany Ann McCallum; brother Martin Clodfelder; sister Mary Wiebers.

  Dorothy Mae Clodfelder, age 91, of Mattoon passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga, IL.
  
  Funeral Services honoring her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Mattoon, IL with Reverend Steven Sotiroff officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Schilling Funeral Home.
  
  Dorothy was born on November 27, 1922 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of John O. and Daisy E. (Crawford) Neff. She married James Edward Clodfelder on January 26, 1941. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1996.
  
  Survivors include her sons, Ronald Edward (Brenda) Clodfelder, Kenneth Wayne (Starlett) Clodfelder, and David John (Mindy) Clodfelder; daughter, Nancy Lee Abel; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren; sisters, Rosalee Cobb and Eleanor Johnston; brother, Charlie Neff; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Clodfelder; three sons, William Eugene Clodfelder, James “Fred” Clodfelder and Jerry Lee Clodfelder; one grandson, William “Billie” Clodfelder Jr; five brothers; and, one sister.
  
  Dorothy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, The Ladies Sodality and The Wives of Officers Club during her husband’s military career. She was also a candy stripper for the American Red Cross. Dorothy loved animals and gardening. She was a treasure and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
  
  Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Immaculate Conception Church Ladies Sodality or Heartland Christian Village Nursing Home.

• Biography*: MATTOON — William E. "Bill" Clodfelder, 43, of Villa Grove, formerly of Mattoon, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday (Feb 12, 1985) in Carle Foundation Hospital, Champaign.
  
  Mr. Clodfelder was arrested Monday after a high-speed police chase that ended when his car crashed in Kansas. He was taken to Paris Community Hospital from the Edgar County Jail in Paris and later transferred to Carle.
  
  An autopsy is scheduled at Springfield.
  
  The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Schilling's Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Niebrugge officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
  
  He was born July 14, 1941, in Battle Creek, Mich., a son of James E. and Dorothy M. Neff Clodfelder. He was an employee of Noble and Black Contractors and was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges.
  
  Surviving are a son, William Eugene of Mattoon; parents of Mattoon; grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Neff of Mattoon; five brothers, James F. of Charleston and Ronald E., Jerry L., Kenneth W. and David J., all of Villa Grove; and a sister, Mrs. Allen (Nancy Lee) Abel of St. Charles.
