Noblitt, son of Abraham and Sarah Ann (Razar/Rozar) Noblitt, born in Bedford County, TN, 16 Mar., 1836, married 22 Nov., 1860 Sylvania C. Boone, daughter of Samuel and Cynthia Boone. Father Abraham died in 1845; mother still living and with David and Sylvania. Physician and surgeon, entered medical department of University of Nashville in 1857, graduated 1860, enlisted in 1861 in Company F, 44th TN and was appointed Asst. Surgeon. Had two children, Leona N and Boone E. In 1866 he bought 150 acres at Booneville where he still lives and practices. In 1872 he was elected to represent Lincoln and Giles Counties in lower house of State Legislature and again in 1874, a Democrat ans Mason. Mrs. Noblitt is a Primitive Baptist. David's father born 4 Jul., 1812, NC, of Anglo-Polish descent, gr. grandfather connected with the English Navy in days of William Penn and came with him to colonies.
