  Elsie Amanda Sink Motsinger, 93, of Old U.S. Highway 52, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at her home.
  
  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Midway United Methodist Church cemetery with Pastor John Woods and the Rev. Michael Gates.
  
  Mrs. Motsinger was born Jan. 15, 1916, in Davidson County to David Lewis Sink and Mary Estelle Sink. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Motsinger; brothers Hollis Sink, Bruce Sink, Jake Sink, Walter Sink and Ross Sink; and sisters Alice Disher and Kate Clodfelter.
  
  Surviving are son Robert "Bobby" Motsinger and his wife, Cornelia, of Midway; daughter Nancy McAlpine and her husband, Jim, of Midway; grandchildren Hal McAlpine and his wife, Tammy, Mike McAlpine and his wife, Wendy, Steve Motsinger and his wife, Jenny, and Tim Motsinger and his wife, Mary; great-grandchildren Christina Clark and her husband, Brad, A.J. McAlpine, Madison McAlpine, Tayler Motsinger, Dustin Motsinger, and Josie Motsinger; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Long, Dorothine Oakley, Helen Shoaf and Louise Sink; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  MIDWAY | Daniel Lewis "Bud" Sink, 79, of Gumtree Road, Winston-Salem, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem.
  A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hebron United Church of Christ, where he was a member. Mr. Sink was born in Davidson County on Sept. 26, 1927, to Walter Hamilton Sink and Ola Miller Sink. He was owner and operator of D.L. Sink Grading for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald Lewis Sink; and a sister, Margaret Moore. Surviving are his wife, Martha Whicker Sink of the home; one son, Danny Sink and Kathy of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Judy Gallimore of Welcome and Terri Shore and Rick of Winston-Salem; 10 grandchildren,Alan Gallimore and Pam, Todd and Angel Gallimore, Greg Gallimore, Jerry Sink, Laura Smith, Bradley Smith, Brian Smith and Brennan Shore, all of Winston-Salem, and Danny Sink Jr.and Aimee of Clemmons; and seven great-grandchildren.   Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Williams and husband Charles Steven of Lexington; three brothers, Jack Disher of Salem, VA, Ray Disher of Missouri City, TX and David Disher of Stoneville, NC; two sisters, Phyllis Everette of Summerfield, NC and Geraldine Aldridge of Vinton Va; two grandchildren, Joshua Williams and Jesse Williams.
