  I, Moses Jones Senior, of the County of Bladen and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following - that is to say.
  
  That my Executor herein after named shall pay my funeral expenses together with my just debts out of the money that may first come into his hands as a part of parcel of my estate.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath to my oldest son Levi Jones the sum of one dollar; having heretofore given him his proportionate part of my property.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Hester. I have also given her part heretofore.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Rueben Jones of the state of Georgia the sum of one dollar.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Moses Jones of the state of Mississippi the sum of one dollar as I have already given him his distributive share.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath my daughter Ruth Ward the sum of one dollar. I have already given her, her parts.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath to the heirs of my daughter Lucy Brown, now dead, the sum of one dollar as I have already gen to my said daughter Lucy her proportionate part.
  
  ITEM: I give and divide unto my daughter Charity Jones Two Hundred acres of land lying in said County of Bladen and in Spring Branch. One Hundred acres of land I bought from my son Rueben Jones as his deed to me will show more fully, and the One Hundred acres in the upper part of a Two Hundred acre survey granted to Ezekiel Buzby Senior the 12th day of November 1779. The said tract of land was surveyed by Will Bryan, the 31st day of December 1778. I further give and bequeath unto my said daughter Charity Jones, my negro man Peter and also my stock of horses, cows, sheep and hogs, one half of my household and kitchen furniture, one half of my beds and their necessary furniture, but she has two beds and furniture as her own property exclusive of mine which is known in the family. Also, one half of such cash as may be on hand at the time of my death. To have and to hold to her heirs in Fee Simple and absolute right forever.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my grandson George W. Jones, son of Moses Jones Jr. the following tracts or parcels of land.
  
  The first piece contains ninety two acres, more or less. I bought the said land from Clark Haynes as his deed to me will more fully show. Also on reference to the division of the Real Estate of George Brown, among his heirs and the said share fell to the lot of fair daughter Lucy.
  
  The second piece contains fifty acres and I bought it from Rueben Jones as his deed to me will show and granted to him the 11th of May 1827.
  
  The third piece being the lower part of a two hundred acre survey granted to Ezekiel Buzby the 12th of November 1779 and surveyed by Will Bryan the 31st of December 1778 to have to hold to him and his heirs in Fee Simple forever.
  
  ITEM: I give and bequeath unto him the said George W. Jones my shotgun and half of my stock of horses, cattle, sheep and hogs. Also one of half of my household and kitchen furniture, one half of my plantation tools and all Hands, one half of my beds and furniture and also one half of my Crop that may be in hand at the time of my death.
  
  ITEM: All monies that may be due me at the time of my death by bond note (account or otherwise), I wish to be collected and equally divided together with such money as may be on hand at the time of my death between my daughter Charity Jones and grandson George W Jones equally.
  
  And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint Colin Monroe my lawful Executor to all interests and purposes to execute this my last Will and Testament according to the interest and meaning of the same. And every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other Wills and Testaments by me made heretofore.
