Mr. Lyle was born on July 11, 1934 in Polk County son of the late Nellie Jane Holder Lyle and the late Marvin E. Lyle. He was involved in the construction industry as a home builder. Mr. Lyle was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Lamar Lyle. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Auda Jane Lyle; a son, Kenneth Jeffery Lyle and his wife Aubrey Anne of Manassas; one sister, Geraldine Stokey and her husband John of Manassas; one brother, David E. Lyle and his wife Cynthia of Arizona; a sister in law, Joyce Lyle of Marietta and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb 9 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with a eulogy given by his son, Mr. Jeffery Lyle and remarks by Mr. Barry Putnam. Interment followed in the family lot of the Smyrna UMC Cemetery in Dallas, GA. The following served as pallbearers: Tim Lyle, Mark Lyle, Jimmy Thompson, Dustin Lindsey, Barry Putnam, and Stevie Wingo. Lisa Anderson and Michelle Thompson Bates served as honorary escort.
