- Biography*: Lee E. Griggs, age 79, passed away at the Shidler Nursing Home in Bridgeport last Thursday night after a long illness.
Mr. Griggs resided in Olney for the past four years and had been a patient at the Nursing Home for the past three weeks.
He is survived by his wife, Minerva; one son, Jack of Peoria; two sisters, Alice Bolles of Bridgeport and Nellie Crane of Laramie, WY; and two half-brothers, Earl and Ira both of Bridgeport.
Funeral services were held at the White House Church in Lawrence County, Sunday afternoon. Interment was held in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Summers-Dush Funeral Home.
