Owned large house and land near Norwood, LA, about 50 miles from Baton Rouge and next to the Mississippi border. Buried at a cemetery in Amite Co., MS only a few miles from the house. Grew cotton, had a store and blacksmith shop, a cane break, and was one of the wealthier people in East Feliciana Parish, LA.
