- Biography*: Livingston F. Butler, 87, of Summerville, husband of Beulah Butler, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at a local hospital.
Born on September 29, 1919, in Bladenboro, NC to the late Thurman A. Butler and Myrtle Hilborn Butler.
Mr. Butler worked in security at the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 21 years. He was Navy veteran of 21 years. He served in the Korean War and World War II. Mr. Butler was a member of the American Legion and the Fleet Reserve. He was also, a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Beulah Bulter.
Mr. Butler was predeceased by a brother, Wilton Butler and Franklin Butler. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007, 1PM, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with full military honors. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park.

- Biography*: Beulah Mae Butler, of Summerville, entered into eternal rest May 20, 2010, in North Charleston.
Mrs. Butler was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Summerville and a long-time member of the Woodmen of the World, VFW, and the American Legion.
She is the beloved mother of Nancy Hester wife of Buddy and Cynthia Lisk wife of Robert; grandchildren: David and Jeff Weeks, Jeremy Hester, Jennifer Hester-Hanson, Gene Wolf, Elizabeth Lisk, Jessica Lisk; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Margaret Lowery of AL, and Mildred Mayers of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law: Alice Bagley of Ladson, SC. She will be deeply missed by these and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Livingston Butler, and her daughter, Hilda Rawlings.
