"Thomas Glenn Parker of Ironwood, Mich. went home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2018. Tom was born Aug. 7, 1933 in Cleghorn, Iowa.
He is survived by his spouse Ann Parker; children Coleen Heckathorn (Shawn) of Ironwood, Vicki Parker of Wakefield, Mich., Tom Parker (Christine) of Mosinee, Wis., Bill Parker (Mae) of Crestview, Fla. and Jon Parker (Chay) of Cortez, Colo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Dawn Sonsken of Cherokee, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving companions Oso, Asher, Sheba and Jerry.
He was forever proud of his family, God and the United States Marines. We will miss his sense of humor, wisdom and love.
His family would like to thank Aspirus Ironwood Hospital for their wonderful care, compassion and delicious desserts that were always waiting for him, and Regional Hospice for their kindness and comfort – especially Mary, who was always there for him and his family.
