Lester Musselwhite, 69, of 618 Whiteville Avenue, Lumberton, died at his home Wednesday night about 7:30, following an illness of several months. He was a veteran of World War I, and a retired carpenter. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 4 P.M. at Biggs Funeral Chapel Rev. James Andrews. Burial will be in New Hollywood cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nolie Cox Musselwhite; six daughters, Mrs. R.L. Pulley, Mrs. J.W. Bryan, and Mrs. Tommy Nance of Lumberton, Mrs. Basil Newton of Fayetteville, Mrs. Jack W. Daniels of Abilene, Texas, and Mrs. Richard Lewis of Lumberton, Rt. 5; two sons, Elmer Musselwhite of Huntsville, Texas, and Bobby Ray Musselwhite of the home; 26 grandchildren; and one brother, Willie Musselwhite of Lumberton.
