• Biography*: Mrs. Jessie Glotfelty Clendenin, South New street, wife of Harry F. Clendenin, died at 8:45 o'clock yesterday morning at St. John's hospital, following an illness of three weeks of a complication of diseases. Decedent was born at Lanark, September 9, 1879, the daughter of Edward and Calista Glotfelty. She was educated in Lanark, graduating from the Lanark High school. She came to this city about twenty-five years ago when her father was appointed to a position in the office of the state printer expert. She was married to Harry Francis Clendenin, a son of the late Henry W. Clendenin, co-publisher of the Illinois State Register, on January 1, 1921. Mrs. Clendenin was a member of the First Congregational church.
  
  Decedent is survived by her husband, her father, Edward Glotfelty, and her sister, Mable Glotfelty. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the First Congregational church. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 11-9-1931.
